VPN (Off-Campus Access)


What is it?

UP Manila VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a way to securely access a remote network.  UPM VPN allows eligible individuals to access the University Library e-resources from a non-UPM internet source as if they were directly connected to the campus network.

Who can use it?

Currently enrolled students of UP Manila

 

To Apply for VPN off-campus access, kindly follow the instructions below:

1. If you have no eUP email account or password yet, please request one from the Office of the College Secretary (OCS) of your mother unit.

2. Once eUP email account password is secured, send email to: " This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. " using your eUP email account (i.e. username@up.edu.ph):

- with "Request for VPN Access" as Subject.

- enumerate operating system of your devices (i.e. Windows7, iOS7, Android4.2)

- scan or take a snapshot of your UP Manila Student ID and attach to the email.

3. Wait for the confirmation of VPN registration which will include instructions and tools for VPN installation*.
