Citation tools can be useful for anyone doing research. Citation tools allow you to create bibliographies quickly and automatically format in-text citations with word processing software.

  1. In EBSCO databases like Academic Search Ultimate, CINAHL, DOSS, and E-books, the Cite button provides citations in different styles.

  2. Google Scholar provides a Cite feature with citations in MLA, APA, Chicago, Harvard, and Vancouver.

    A commercial, Internet-based plagiarism detection service launched in 1997. Universities and high schools typically buy licenses to use the software as a service (SaaS) website, which checks submitted documents against its database and the content of other websites with the aim of identifying plagiarism.
